So many questions. However, one question in particular is prodding an answer.
What if I am a lightworker?
Am I one? Hmm..NOPE? YES? NOT SURE?
Would I like to be one? YEAH.
If I were one, what would I want to do?
A few things crossed my mind as I asked the question. With an open heart, I do hope I’ll be able to do them someday.
The vision of my life as a Lightworker would include the following:
Point 1: Teaching children the correct values to have. Mainly the bottom picture (taken from a school website). Many of us often either don’t know or have forgotten what we as humans should be. With proper core values, I feel with help anchor them. These values are meant to remind us that we are human and not a robot. With meaningful core values, an individual can find their purpose, and stray from it, one shall not.

Point 2: Teach self-cultivation, self-growth. In Buddhism, that would be called Bhavana
(https://www2.buddhistdoor.net/dictionry/details/bhavana). It’s about building one's body, mind and spirit and they should never be taken lightly or forgotten. Many people live their lives rushing around, like a hamster on a hamster wheel, doing and doing without proper direction. This in turn, creates confusion and stagnation. Materialism has risen at a most alarming rate amongst the new generation and the reason behind it may be because human hasn’t evolved in the way that matters most, in fact may actually regressed. The development of concentration on the correct values (gratitude, honour, respect, humility etc.) and the growing of wisdom (understanding, insightful, openness, listening etc.), can, in my opinion, assist in guiding a person to lead a more satisfying, fulfilled life, with more peace in them, releasing negativity/low vibes like regrets for example, from them.
Point 3: My goal is to be a life and wellness coach/influencer. I hope to teach others how to improve their lives through communication, better life choices, organisation skills, healthier mindset, etc. As mentioned before, humankind is scarily behaving more like robots. The human side is slowly fading. Hence, as a coach/ influencer, I hope to inspire others to be more sensitive towards all living creatures on earth, appreciate the gifts from mother earth, and, most importantly, find peace.
Point 4: This is a dream of mine to own a library cafe that serves different cuisines every week. This cafe has two rules: 1) kids free & 2) Speak softly. The reason for these 2 rules is to provide space for alone time – to help patrons to clear their minds from their inner chatters and outer disturbances. Some parents may feel it’s unfair but let’s be honest, it would do some parents good to be away from the noises of life including their children. It doesn’t mean they love them less. In fact, it may make them even better parents when they give themselves some space and time to settle their personal chaos within so that during their time with their children, they will be of a lighter mood, free of tension and stress. Anyway, most cafes are kid-friendly so no big deal if mine is not. Our society has become too busy, too noisy. A moment of quiet will do wonders for both mind and soul by taking a moment to listen to your inner voice. A good time to be with yourself and know who you truly are.
In conclusion, these are my current ideas of what I would like to do as a lightworker. Hopefully, with a bit of courage and bravery, I will be able to achieve it.
Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day~
I enjoyed this sensitive piece on the human aspects of being a lightworker. Indeed that because lightworkers are embodied in physical form, it is essential we allow the core values of love be expressed through human expression. Your library cafe sounds like a serene space - wishing you the best in manifesting your dream!😊
Well done , both Ashley and Mooni. I enjoyed reading both posts . Very insightful and lots of self awareness. Definitely lightworkers material.
That is a detail plan you have there. Go for it. Let's help and support each other along the journey. 😊
